Military families face unique experiences and stresses in daily life that the civilian population is not subjected to. With over one third of our student body connected to the military, we are sensitive to effects this may have on military children and work to help them cope when difficult situations arise. We strive to create a supportive environment for our children whose parents work to defend our nation.

As Student Liaison Officer for NAS Oceana and Dam Neck, John services military families and the majority of schools in the City of Virginia Beach. He is an advocate for the educational needs for military children and is a point of contact for military family members needing assistance with school issues.
